Going beyond storage to save time, money and effort while enjoying delicious home cooked meals.
1. SmartThings app required, available on Android & iOS. Internet connection & Samsung account required
2. Samsung account log-in and internet connection required to fully operate Bixby features
On-device Bixby
Control the refrigerator with your voice. Built-in voice recognition lets you speak commands and ask for information using Samsung Bixby(1). So you can control settings, get recipe ideas and updates on other appliances or ask it to show videos on the screen, like how to change the water filter.
1. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required. You must use the same log-in account on each of the devices.
Auto Open Door with Voice
Open your refrigerator hands-free! With Auto Open Door, simply say “Hi Bixby, open the door” or lightly touch the sensors on either side to activate the automatic opening(1). Sensor lights make them easy to locate, and an alert sound lets you know when the door is opening.
1. You can select the door opening level using the SmartThings App (SmartThings is available on Android and iOS devices. A Wi-Fi connection and a Samsung account are required).
Metal Cooling
Keep food cool with the metal cooling plate, retaining the cold temperature and restoring any heat loss quickly.
Plumbed Water & Ice
Enjoy cool drinks and ice without the hassle of refilling the water tank. It has a plumbed water & ice dispenser integrated into the front, which can be easily connected to a water supply. So, with a simple touch, you can get a glass of chilled water or plenty of ice to cool drinks.
